Types of Contact Lens Replacement Schedules
Daily Disposable Lenses
Best for: maximum comfort, dry eyes, convenience, sensitive eyes, allergies. Daily lenses are worn once and discarded at the end of each day.

Bi-Weekly Lenses

Types of Contact Lens Designs
Different eyes need different lens technologies. At Blink Better, we’ll help you find a design that supports your prescription and lifestyle, whether that’s simple daily wear or specialized vision correction.
Spherical Lenses
For: Nearsightedness (myopia) and Farsightedness (hyperopia).
These lenses have a uniform power throughout and are the most common type of contact lens.
Toric Lenses
For: Astigmatism.
Toric lenses contain multiple powers and special stabilization technology to prevent rotation, offering clear and stable vision.
Multifocal Lenses
For: Presbyopia (age-related difficulty focusing up close).
Multifocal contacts feature multiple zones of power, allowing you to see distance, intermediate, and near without relying on reading glasses.
Monovision Contact Lenses
For: Presbyopia.
Monovision is an alternative to multifocals — one eye is corrected for distance and the other for near vision. The brain blends both images, offering functional vision at all distances.
Our 3-Step Fitting Process
Step 1: Understand Your Eyes & Your Needs
We begin with an exam to assess your vision and eye health, including any dryness or other concerns that could affect contact lens comfort. We’ll also discuss your daily routine and how often you plan to wear contacts to guide our recommendations.
Step 2: Measure & Assess Your Fit
We take measurements of your eyes to guide lens selection. We then assess how your selected lenses sit and move on your eyes, along with your vision and comfort.
Step 3: Try Your Lenses & Follow Up
Once suitable trial lenses are available, you’ll have the opportunity to try them in your everyday routine. If you’re new to contacts, we provide hands-on, in-office training on inserting, removing and caring for your lenses before you take them home.
At your follow-up appointment, we check your vision, comfort and how your eyes are responding. If adjustments are needed, we can try a different lens or prescription. Once we’re satisfied with your fit and eye health, we’ll finalize your contact lens prescription and help you order your supply.
